If you’re tired on dimpy, tinny, and muddy sound from the onboard audio, try this card. All data paths support up to bits. I bought this used for a reasonable price. Great sound quality in both playback and recording! See any errors on this page? Only drawback, no headphone jack.

The price on this card is terrific. Under win it I do not think it raises worries either.

The sound from the card goes into my stereo. Works great with my DAW. This card was designed to be plugged into a mixing board or a preamp for your inputs and studio monitors for the output. Get this and reaper. Should have bought one sooner. I feel the sound quality was more than sufficient,it got the job done and audiophioe got the job done well very well.

The card ran almost immediately under XP. I think this is very good bang for the buck. After plugging it in and installing the driver, it worked right away on Windows Vista.

I recorded three tracks after about 15 minutes fooling with it Worked perfectly ever since. Additionally, setting this card to 24 bit recording and setting Audacity to 24 bit recording only gets 16 bit recordings.

My intergrated sound card wound up burnning out when hooked up to my older sound system. M Audio’s site isn’t too friendly I’m running a dual-boot Ubuntu This particular sound card works well in “somewhat older” PCs.

Much less audiophille than on-board sound system, particularly for recording line-in signals.

Input into the card for digitizing an lp played on a turntable gives an excellent recording. To use VSTI without much latency. Trending 249 New.

I do not have my PC on hand to check, but from memory it should be under 12ms to 44khz and 48khz at 8 under. Its a stereo card,so you have to mix down to 2 channels before going into the card.
